Roma-Cop...

I got up this morning and turned on The History Channel.

Now, before you call me a nerd, you should realize that The History Channel is a good thing. My first introduction to it was when Chris Glinski told me that he used to turn it on when he wanted to take a nap. "Just interesting enough to take your mind off of things. Not interesting enough to keep you from falling asleep." What I saw delighted my heart.

Engineering an Empire is all about ancient architecture. I was fascinated by who built what and what these ancient structures meant to the civilizations that housed them. But I was more fascinated by the fact that it was hosted by Peter Weller, better known as Robocop. Turns out the eighties' most prominent half-man, half-machine, all cop is now a professor at Syracuse. Who knew that the future of law enforcement could meet the majesty of the past in such an entertaining hour of television...

Chris Glinski is a genius.

Robocop would make a great professor. Much like Taj. Different specialties of course.
