I've been meaning to post reviews on these three for a couple of days now, but haven't had the time. So, now I'm in Chicago and I've been traveling for the whole day and I'm tired. So, here's three super quick reviews for these three movies...
Evan Almighty- I got the chance to see a special pastor's screening of this last week. It was a good movie with a great message. There are some lines in this movie that are some of the most profound I've heard yet. It's super family friendly! I give it the honor of being awarded a certified 4 Yarmulke™ rating.
Surf's Up- I took my 7th grade guys small group to see this movie. If you like the Office or thiis is Spinal Tap, you'll like it. It's "filmed" like a documentary. It reminded me a lot of Shrek, in that it was funny to the kids but made the adults laugh too. Only, it wasn't because of innuendo like Shrek was. I thought it was great! I give it the honor of being awarded a certified 4 Yarmulke™ rating.
Ocean's 13- Not as good as the first. Not as bad as the second. Too long of a set up for to small of a payout. Al Pacino is good. Ellen Barkin is great. Clooney, Pitt and Damon phone it in. I give it the honor of being awarded a certified 2.5 Yarmulke™ rating.
