iTunes Receipt: Part 7...

I recently received a ton of iTunes gift certificates. In fact, I'm a little bit intimidated by the amount of money that I now have to apply towards my iTunes account. So, as a start, I spent about an hour last night combing through the iTunes Essentials Your Favorite Year, Your Favorite Song section. I looked from 1990 through 2000 and picked up 4 singles that I hadn't heard in a long time. I also picked up two songs that I had just heard on TV and knew I wanted. I suppose I'll be looking a lot more in the coming weeks.

And now, I'm heading over to the fam's house to celebrate New Year's with food...

  • I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow by The Soggy Bottom Boys

  • The Motown Song by Rod Stewart

  • The King of Wishful Thinking by Go West

  • Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman? by Bryan Adams

  • You Don't Know How it Feels by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

  • Do You Know (What it Takes) by Robyn

  • You Give Me Something by James Morrison

I love Robyn...I used to make Ryanne and Alanna listen to her two hits on repeat...

It's official, we are twins separated at birth. I have five of these seven songs...but the fact that you have put the "Man of constant sorrow" on your iPod really confirms it! We may be one of a very small group of soggy bottom boy lovers!
And BOY do I love that song! It's a geographical phenomenom!
    Happy New Year!
