Shrimp, Chicken, and Chips...

Yesterday was a good day...

I met Jarred at his house around lunchtime. We then drove out to Pt. Loma Seafoods to enjoy some amazing food. If you love seafood, and happen to be in San Diego, you have to eat here. It's the best seafood I've ever eaten in my life. We were able to continue some of our conversation from Friday, as well has have some pretty good laughs.

I dropped back by my place, grabbed a quick shave and a jacket, then headed back downtown to meet a group of friends from Orange County. We had dinner at Buca di Bepppo's and, as always, walked out feeling stuffed to the gills from the ginormous portions of delicious food. Not only was it a great meal, but as we ate, a guy stood up at the table next to us and then proposed to his girlfriend. Pretty Cool...

We headed back to their hotel to play some games. We started off by playing Bunco. Now, I feel it my responsibility to warn you that this game is not intended for people with heart conditions or who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, as it definitely elevates your heart rate. After a couple of rounds of that I made a quick run to 7-11 with two other guys, grabbed some snacks, and started some other games. "Oh Heck!" is a favorite of Kurt's and is always fun. And, of course, we ended the night with some poker.

So much fun! It's been good for my heart (except for the stress it endured during Bunco) to spend time with people I love...
