The Tony Stark...

It’s no secret that I loved the Iron Man movie (certified 4.5 yarmulke™ rating). After all, I saw it three times in the theater. But, what was it about this masterpiece of American cinema that made it so perfect? Was it the incredible acting of Robert Downey Jr.? Was it the top-notch special effects? Was it the Nick Fury cameo after the credits? No. In this post, I’d like to offer my opinion on what it was that made Iron Man so successful.

It was Tony Stark’s goatee.

Look at it. It’s perfect. It stands alone, in total uniqueness, as a monument of what tremendous facial grooming can produce. Look at its sharp contours. It’s points. Its separations. I would challenge anyone to find a better example of what makes a man successful.

I now have a new goal: to grow my own “Tony Stark”. Add it to the bucket list…

It's original name was the Van Dyke which is a goatee accompanied by a separate mustache.
