Caleb At the Bat...

Saturday was my little bro's birthday...

We started the day off by going to watch him play baseball. For about 13 years now, Caleb's been a part of a baseball league for people with physical or mental disabilities. Originally it was called P.A.L. (which stood for physical and learning disabled), but now it's called the Miracle league (which I like a lot more). I helped out for many years until I was in college, so it was good to come back and see how far things have come.

For instance, they've had a new field built just for them!

The entire field is made of a rubbery substance (that has a grip to it). This was done because some of the players have to use crutches or wheelchairs.

Here's a few pics of my bro warming up...

The week before this, he hit a grand slam! Even though he didn't hit the same this week, he did a great job throwing and catching! He's come so far since we started!

I'm so proud of my bro...
