AIS9: Top Eleven Prediction Guess...

Someone once said; the good thing about hitting rock bottom is that you've got nowhere to go but up. If that's true, American Idol's ninth season should be feeling pretty good about the limitless possibilities it has for improvement.

You'd think that a show themed around Billboard's #1 songs would be a guaranteed winner. But on Idol, as in life, there are always variables around to change the equation. In this case, those variables (six, in number) are the mostly terrible season 9 contestants that were voted into the top 12 instead of my dear Lilly Scott. (Yes. I'm still mourning her loss. Get used to it.) These "singers" combined with this week's "mentor" fused together to form one of the worst Idol performance episodes I've witnessed in the history of the show.

Slezak ranked the singers before last night, but I'd imagine those ranking have changed quite a bit now...

Time for my bottom three predictions: After last night Paige Miles is toast. Dry, tone deaf toast. Joining her in the bottom three will be Andrew Garcia and perennial bottom three resident, Tim Urban. And... going home will be Paige. Duh. When you're labeled with having the worst vocal during the worst season of idol, it's kind of a no brainer...

So did you suffer through this muck too? What did you think? Was Miley as useless as I thought? Comment away...
